Cao Lanh is a capital city of Dong Thap province in the Mekong Delta, known as the kingdom of mango and homeland of Pink Lotus. With total area of 107 km2, it accommodates 190,000 people with 2/3 living in the city and 1/3 farming agriculture. Being the largest mango land in the country, Cao Lanh has 14,000 ha of mango yielding 190,000 tons/ year. The sampan takes guests to the dock in the city center for a city tour by coach to include visits to the followings:
- Nguyen Sinh Sac mausoleum (Ho Chi Minh’s father)
- Home of a handicraft expert specializing in weaving baskets from water hyacinth stems.
- A visit to a mango farm family, chance to taste beautiful mangoes to their garden.
